  Clean, bright location with lots of staff available on makeup and perfume counters. They were happy to help with samples. Very impressed with cleanliness of this store.

  I need some medicated shampoo to treat my scalp acne. So I drove to the nearest Boots today, the one at Monks Cross York. Simply because there is a pharmacy, so I can ask for some advice. I went there, asked the sales assistant girl at the pharmacy countet but she got no idea. Fair enough for her, she's not the pharmacist. So she reached to one, who was standing in the corner chatting with another 2 ladies. The sales assistant talked to her, and I can see her facial expressions: a puzzled face with a pair of slighly raised browse. And she looked to me for one second and looked back to the sales assistant then shake her head. Without a single will to speak or explain to me, she carried on chatting with her colleagues. And the girl walked back and said they don't have any suitable product for me and asked me to see a gp. She didn't stand far away from me, maybe just around 10 steps away, but she wasn't bothered to. In the end, embarrassment was the only thing left to me. But still I manged to find one medicated shampoo for seborrhoeic dermatitis on the shelf. I really need one now, otherwise I would rather to buy one online.
